Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Numetal (“Numetal”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the website at numetal.xyz and the Numetal Discord and Telegram bots (each, a “bot”), together the “Services”. We collect as little as possible.
01Information we collect
Website. We do not ask for or collect personal information through numetal.xyz. The site serves static content and reads public on-chain data from the Base network. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser metadata) to deliver and secure the site.
Discord bot. When a server moderator runs one of the bot’s commands, the bot processes the Discord identifiers necessary to carry out that action — the target user, the acting moderator, the server, and the relevant message — solely to perform the requested moderation (timeout, ban, message removal) and to write an entry to that server’s moderation-log channel. The bot does not read or store general message content, does not build user profiles, and does not retain personal data beyond what is needed to perform the requested action.
Telegram verification bot. Access to the official Numetal Telegram community is token-gated by our verification bot (@numetalguard_bot). To enforce the holding requirement, the bot links your Telegram user ID to the wallet address you verify through a free, off-chain signature. Verification is not a transaction — it moves no funds, grants no token approvals, and never takes custody; we never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, or any payment. We store only this Telegram-ID ↔ wallet mapping and your membership state, solely to grant and maintain token-gated access, and re-check balances periodically. We do not sell or share it.
02How we use information
We use the limited information above only to operate, maintain, and secure the Services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and delivering the Services (GDPR Art 6(1)(f)). We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising, targeted advertising, or profiling (including under the CCPA/CPRA).
03Service providers
We rely on third-party infrastructure to run the Services: Cloudflare (hosting, security, delivery), Discord and Telegram (the platforms the bots operate on, each governed by its own policies), and public blockchain RPC providers used to read on-chain data. On-chain data on Base is inherently public.
04Cookies & tracking
numetal.xyz does not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and to operate the site.
05Data retention
We retain technical/security logs only as long as needed for security and operation. Moderation-log entries created by the Discord bot live in your own Discord server and are controlled by you, the server owner. The Telegram-ID ↔ wallet mapping held by the verification bot is kept only while you remain a member and is deleted when you leave or are removed.
06Your choices & rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection supervisory authority (GDPR Art 77). To exercise any of these, contact contact@numetal.xyz. Server owners control the bot’s configuration and the moderation-log channel within their own servers.
07Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the applicable digital-consent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
08Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
